RECEIPTS:
NADE provides a receipt to the registrant when the registrant arrives at the conference site. NADE regrets that it cannot mail or fax receipts.
CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION:
Registrations with payment postmarked or submitted online by February 20, 2016 will be confirmed by email to the registrant within 14 days of receipt, providing the registrant has included a functional email address in his/her registration materials.
REFUND POLICY:
Refund requests must be in writing and must be postmarked or emailed (office@nade.net) no later than March 15, 2016. Refund requests postmarked after March 15, 2016 will not be honored. Please submit your written request to NADE at the address shown below. No refund will be given for membership dues, institutes (unless an institute is cancelled), food events, or other optional events. Approved refunds will be paid by check and will incur a $25 processing fee, which will be deducted from the approved refund amount before the refund check is written. Refund checks will be mailed by the Conference Treasurer 4-6 weeks after the conference.
NADE Membership Requirement:
Individuals who join or renew their membership with conference registration are eligible to use Categories A-D. Only persons who have current membership in NADE (expiring on or after 3/15/2016) are eligible to use Categories E-H. Registrants who select Categories E-H but whose membership cannot be verified as current (expiration of 3/15/2016 or later) will be required to either (1) pay non-member fees shown in Category I or (2) join NADE and pay membership dues before their registration can be processed.
Presenters:
Presenters are required to register for the conference using one of the categories from A – K. Presenters are not eligible to register as Visitors (Category L).
All presenters for Pre- and/or Post–Conference Workshops, Concurrent Sessions, and Poster Sessions must be registered by the on-time registration deadline of February 20, 2016.
If presenters are not registered by
February 20, 2016
, their session may be cancelled. Note, pre/post-conference institute presenters who are not attending the rest of the conference must register using the Wednesday or Saturday-only registration, Category K.
Visitors to the Conference:
Visitors to the conference must register using the “visitor” category (Category L). As visitors, they will be permitted free admission to the Opening Reception on Wednesday,

; the complimentary continental breakfasts on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18; the Exhibit Hall area; and general sessions (non-food). They may also purchase tickets for optional food events. The “visitor” category is not applicable to presenters, exhibitors, moderators, or anyone planning to attend a concurrent session; these individuals must register in another category.
Graduate and Undergraduate Students:
Full-time students pay a reduced fee to attend the conference. NADE encourages students to get involved with developmental education early in their professional careers. To qualify for the reduced rate, students must submit a letter from the registrar or the dean of the college stipulating the student is enrolled full-time in an education program. This letter must accompany the conference registration form. Graduate students who are teaching full-time must pay the regular registration fees.
Adjunct Instructors:
Adjunct instructors are encouraged to attend the NADE conference. To qualify for the reduced rate, adjunct instructors must submit a letter from their academic dean stating that they are adjunct instructors. This letter must be submitted with the NADE conference registration form. Adjunct instructors who are teaching for more than one university or who are working full-time at one university and teaching part-time at another university must pay the regular registration fee.
